09.12.2013- Christmas Gifting: For Fashion Fans

With festive mania now well and truly underway, it's time for the second installment of my Christmas gift guide! This little selection of prospective presents has been put together with the fashion fan in mind- that truly trendy friend, the person who can't stop raving about the latest designer must have or that savvy shopper who successfully saves all of their hard earned pennies for a series of luxury purchases. So, focused on these notoriously tricky to shop for people, here's a look at my fashionable festive finds:

Accelerator Dress in Fuchsia, £289, Antipodium/Gold Plated Love Ring, £120, Alex Monroe at Liberty/Kitty Shoe Bag, £45, Charlotte Olympia/Comme Ci Comme Ca Sweater, £75, Whistles/Dior Impressions Book, £18.17, Amazon/Bow Detail Blouse, £19.99, Zara/Bertie Putney Leopard Slip On Shoes, £69, Dune/Lanvin Illustrated Playing Cards, £55, Net-a-Porter/Bow French Purse in Pink, £275, Mulberry

This dress from Antipodium has featured in many a festive frock round up over the last few weeks, and it's easy to see why. The shocking pink shade is a really welcome, vibrant departure from a lot of the conventional darker hues which hit the high street at this time of the year, and the sheer overlay is a gorgeously luxe touch which makes this the perfect transitional piece. Definitely one to snap up for the statement dresser in your life. Alex Monroe is one of my favourite jewellery designers, and this adorable ring is definitely at the top of my wish list. It's so simple, and would be a perfect, meaningful present for someone special, don't you think? Charlotte Olympia's kitty flats have become a real cult item over the last few years, and if your budget doesn't quite stretch to a pair then this signature print shoe bag is a perfect alternative- especially lovely if you add in a little savings jar for the recipient to tot up their pennies for a real pair! We all know that I've got a real soft spot for the slogan sweats which Whistles have been producing this year, and this style is well and truly at the top of my wishlist- it's a real simple basic which will carry you through well in to 2014 too.

If your fashionista friend is struggling for wardrobe space, then why not snap up this gorgeous Dior book for them? Focusing on the inspiration which the label takes from Impressionist artists such as Monet and Degas, it's a definite must-have for any trendy coffee table and a lovely keepsake too. This tie neck blouse from Zara is something which I've already treated myself to for the festive season, and at £19.99, you really can't go wrong- simple, understated and classically chic without breaking the bank. If footwear is more your bag (so to speak!), then look no further than these amazing skater style shoes from Bertie. This style is set to be super popular as we progress to next year, so definitely a really worthwhile investment, and the leopard print adds the perfect pop of character to any winter outfit. I couldn't resist including these beautiful Lanvin playing cards from Net-a-Porter as they are so intricate and an instant collectable- if you're feeling creative then why not frame some and give them as gifts? Finally, no Christmas wishlist would be complete without a little slice of Mulberry, and this bow detail purse has to be one of the prettiest pieces I've seen in a long while- an ideal luxury pressie for someone who is determined to watch the pennies as we head towards a new year...!

Which pieces are on your Christmas wishlist?
