23.10.2015- Most Wanted: Pepe Jeans AW15

Regular readers will be well aware that one of my favourite pastimes is discovering (or indeed, rediscovering) some new brands or names which I've not been too familiar with in the past. It's always a lovely to revisit some old favourites when they've got a seriously swoon-worthy drop of new season pieces too, and a few weeks ago I spied a selection of styles from Pepe Jeans which have since rocketed to the top of my wish list. I've had a few pairs of their jeans in the past and have always been really impressed with the quality of their basics, but now I'm seriously won over by the rest of their autumn fashion offerings too:
Andy Warhol Empire Dress, £95/Missy Shirt, £70/Trent Coat, £190/Bells Shirt, £65/Redford Mask Ankle Boots, £103/Carey Glasses, £59

This pink dress is a potential purchase in the making, especially as the Andy Warhol sketches which adorn the design guarantee that it's something which won't be around indefinitely. It's the perfect special occasion frock too, don't you think? With the countless clothing conundrums which the change in seasons throws up, I'm sure I'm not the only one who resorts to living in basic pieces- and sometimes retreating to some classic black staples is a great hassle-free option. This long sleeved black top is wonderfully practical, and I love the lace detail- adding the perfect contrasting touch and making it a great option for the evening too. Regular readers will be more than familiar with my much loved camel coat, but for these inbetweeny months I'm on the hunt for a shorter version which still packs something of a sartorial punch- and this beauty ticks all of the right boxes in my book. The wider collar is a lovely nod to this season's 60s inspired aesthetic too- so definitely a classic worth saving up for!

As I touched on in my last post, I've been keeping my eyes peeled for some new season prints of late too- and this lippy design is a brilliant antidote to the winter blues, with so much character and infinite styling potential. Although my rather rammed wardrobe is testament to the fact that I defintely don't need any more pairs of shoes, there's something about this time of year which compels me to add to my collection. These patent Chelsea boots are serious new season swag- and a real investment which would last for ages too. Finally, ever the optimist, I've included these gorgeous retro shaped shades in the hope (however futile!) that the sun will reappear before too long!
