08.06.2018- Most Wanted: A Whistles Wishlist

In terms of clothes shopping, I usually tend to visit a series of stores on rotation, and predominantly out of habit. With ease in mind, I tend to alternate between the shops which I can easily flit to on my lunch break, which can sometimes mean that I get stuck in something of a routine of not shopping around to make my pennies stretch as far as they can. With that in mind, recently I’ve been making an effort to revisit some old fashion favourites- and top of the crop with a fantastic SS18 drop is Whistles:

Merci Beau Coup Logo T-Shirt, £49/Easy Basic Vest Top, £32/Embroidered Floral Shirt, £109/High Waist Barrel Jeans, £95/Cordilla Pleated Skirt, £139/Vive Les Vacances Pouch, £35/Daisy Print Bikini Briefs, £40/Daisy Print Bikini Top, £40/Cara Slouchy Everyday, £199, all Whistles

Slogan tees from Whistles are always well worth investing in, and the handful which I’ve picked up from Whistles in the past are still some of my most-worn items. This French fancy is perfect for stashing in your suitcase if you’re heading off on holiday and is a real boon to any summer wardrobe. There are few things more ubiquitous for a summer wardrobe than a classic black vest, and this number is one which would be a brilliant versatile investment too- ideal for teaming with anything and everything. I love this embroidered top too- the dream for stashing in your suitcase and another classic option which I don’t think you’d ever get tired of wearing- one well worth saving the pennies for.

Jeans for summer might not be the most practical of options- but with our weather proving so unpredictable, it’s always better to be prepared! This kick flare pair are a really welcome alternative to lots of the more fitted styles which I tend to reach for day to day, and again offer a plethora of prospective styling options. Summer style in abundance comes from this gorgeous contrasting print skirt- a must-have if you’re jetting off on holiday or want to inject a splash of colour into your city wardrobe.

Flight mode activated, this slogan pouch is a lovely practical purchase if you’re keen to make your holiday as fuss-free as possible- whether it’s for stashing make-up, currency or your passport. If you’ve booked a beach break and are shopping around for some swimwear, then this co-ordinating bikini is a brilliant option, and more than enough to see you through a week in the sun in style. Finally, whether you’re in the market for a new carry-on or just want to bolster your bag collection, this everyday style ticks all of the right boxes- I particularly love the added hardware, and anything big enough to fit all of my essential in is always a winner.

What are your summer go-to pieces?
