18.03.2019- A Facial at Luminis Beauty, Reigate

Monday, 18 March 2019

Last week, I was lucky enough to be invited along to my local Luminis Beauty salon to indulge in a little spot of rest and relaxation- the perfect way to round off my recent holiday and try and recalibrate as much as possible before heading back to work. It's only in the last year or so that I've really embraced heading to a salon every few months for a treatment (usually either a facial or a deep tissue massage), but have become a real convert in quite a short space of time. I think that there's a lot to be said for taking (and indeed making) the time to look after yourself properly- an hour every once in a while to completely switch off from the outside world and relax. My trip last Tuesday represented my first visit to a Luminis salon, and I was well and truly converted by the end of the experience:

After a consultation with the the therapist who would be doing my treatment (the wonderful Rehana), and having spoken through my skincare concerns, we settled on the Elemis Superfood Pro-Radiance Facial. Designed to restore and revive skin, the treatment uses micro-circulatory massage and a two-step amino active mask to boost moisture levels and elasticity- just what I needed after a weekend of flying and being blasted by every different iteration of weather which Ireland could possibly throw at me! The whole experience was lovely from start to finish- from the moment I arrived at the salon, right through to recommendations for products to take home and try at the end (I picked up the Superfood Berry Boost Mask). My skin has definitely reaped the rewards too- so much so that I'm sure I'll be heading back for another treatment soon- especially as the salon is a real relaxation haven just a few minutes away from home! A huge thank you to Luminis for inviting me along.

*This was a gifted experience. As ever, my opinions and impressions are 100% honest.
