26.04.2019- London Loves: Lamb's Conduit Street

Friday, 26 April 2019

It's always lovely to be able to spend time exploring new corners of any city, and London never ceases to surprise me with the discoveries which it invites, usually just a short distance away from some of the most popular pockets of town. Dandering around during a leisurely lunch break a few weeks ago, Hannah and I came across Lamb's Conduit Street, just a short stroll away from our usual meeting spot in Bloomsbury, and one which we'd (rather shamefully!) neglected to explore until then. Needless to say, it's a real gem- retaining lots of lovely historical touches and home to some fantastic independent shops:

As well as some fabulous food and drink options, including Redemption Roasters and Knockbox Coffee, Lamb's Conduit Street is also home to a bounty of other eateries, as well as perfect options for lunchtime, including The People's Supermarket. As well as some beautifully picturesque side streets, this part of town is also home to some great clothes shops- Folk, Number Six and Oliver Spencer, as well as J.Crew. Other independent highlights include Persephone Books and Dawson Flowers, as well as Aesop, which offers skincare consultations and fifty minute facials in their beautiful back-of-house space. All in all, a lovely little area of town, and one which I can't wait to continue exploring!

Have you made any new discoveries recently?
