Packing a reduced wardrobe is something which I’ve definitely become better at over the last few years, especially in terms of prioritising practicality and comfort over and above anything too trendy, or indeed anything which doesn’t respond well to living in a suitcase for a short break. For my recent trip to Copenhagen, I packed a combinations of staples which worked as well individually as they did as part of an outfit, and which also provided the perfect level of warmth to keep me comfortable walking around the city:

Cardigan- Marks and Spencer
Tee- Plastic Freedom
Skirt- Marks and Spencer
Bag- John Lewis
Sunglasses- Ray-Ban (c/o John Lewis)
This cardigan from Marks and Spencer is a piece which I picked up for my trip to Northern Ireland last year, and since then it’s been a real boon to my wardrobe, especially as it’s so comfortable and lends itself perfectly to styling with lots of different favourites, whether that be a dress or for a more casual feel. The tee is another favourite, and is from Plastic Freedom- well worth a follow on Instagram if you’re looking for some hints and tips on how to make your life more sustainable and less plastic not-so-fantastic. I love the sentiment behind it too- some much needed inspiration for every aspect of life. Here I teamed it with another hero from M&S in the shape of this basic black skirt, which I know I’ll be living in as we head towards the summer.
