10.06.2019- A Copenhagen Photo Diary

Monday, 10 June 2019

It feels like years ago now, but it's just over a month or so since I was in beautiful Copenhagen! It was my first visit to the city and it's somewhere I've wanted to visit for a little while now. Needless to say, it more than lived up to expectations, both in terms of the hygge vibes, relaxed atmosphere (making London seem all the more stressful by comparison), and the wonderfully friendly people. As well as that, it's a destination which is perfectly picturesque- so needless to say I found myself snapping away to capture some memories of the trip:

I honestly don't think that my eyeballs have ever had so much to take it all at once! From day one, there was so much to see and do, whether that be a canal boat tour on the first morning to see the city from the water, exploring Nyhavn or soaking up some incredible Danish history at some of the most breathtaking palaces I've ever seen- Rosenborg and Amalienborg. The Copenhagen Card proved to be a brilliant investment buy, including free travel and admission to the majority of attractions across the city and beyond, including the beautiful and inspiring Design Museum, Glyptoteket and Louisiana galleries. Other highlights included the botanic gardens, Royal Danish Library and Frederik's Church, as well as (of course!), the fantastic food- more on that soon!

Have you visited anywhere new recently?
