16.09.2019- What I Wore Today #385

As I’ve touched on in a few previous posts, dressing for the heat is something which I was really conscious of this summer, and as the temperatures crept up, I made a point of snapping up some new staples to see me through the heatwave in as much comfort as possible. Over the last few months, I’ve been making a concerted effort to shop more locally, and I’m really enjoying unearthing local boutiques and little gems on my doorstep, and it’s lovely to be able to support local businesses too. It’s also allowed me to uncover some great new labels as well:

Top- Bellerose
Skirt- Lily and Lionel (via Anthropologie)
Sunglasses- Ganni
Bag- Fjallraven
Shoes- Flossy

This top from Bellerose was a gem of a discovery from Quattro Rish, a lovely local boutique a little drive on from me in their sale, and it’s the perfect summer staple, much like the Hush top which I featured in my last style post. It’s a great colour too, and here I teamed it with another seasonal essential in the shape of this skirt from Lily and Lionel at Anthropologie for an everyday look aimed at beating the heat! I'm really keen to start thinking about how I can style this skirt for the autumn too.

Which are your local shopping favourites?
