With the weather looking decidedly gloomy of late, I’m looking back to the end of the summer with some style shaped snaps which I captured just before the temperatures tumbled. It’s always lovely to rediscover some old favourites in your wardrobe, and after having a good clear out earlier in the year I was delighted to get to grips with remixing some pieces which I’ve had stashed away for ages- including some staple styles which I am really please have stood the test of time:

Jumper- Marks and Spencer
Jumpsuit- Zara
Sunglasses- Warehouse
Bag- Fjallraven
Shoes- Flossy
This jumpsuit from Zara is a piece which I picked up I can’t even remember how long ago, and for a while it languished in the back of my wardrobe as I tried to work out how to style it. For the end of the summer and beginning of autumn it proved to be the perfect piece for negotiating the changeable temperatures, and wins serious points for being one of those great go-to essentials which is really easy to reach for first thing in the morning without having to put too much thought into it! Here I layered it over a basic knit from M&S, so perhaps this is something to think about for making it a winter wonder too.
Have you refreshed any old wardrobe favourites recently?
