03.01.2020- What I Wore Today #397

It seems slightly incongruous to be sharing these images in the depths of winter, but I'm really keen to share some of my style snaps from my trip to Dubrovnik last October, especially as looking back at the sun-soaked surroundings is the perfect antidote to the gloom of the UK in January! Dubrovnik truly is a magical city and one which I can't recommend visit enough- I'm working on a city guide which I hope to have live at the end of the month, but for now am contenting myself with looking back at some of the truly spectacular scenery:

Dress- Monki
Bag- Whistles
Sandals- ASOS
Sunglasses- And Other Stories

I bought this dress from Monki especially for this break, and it proved to be the perfect purchase. The relaxed fit and light fabric made it perfect for day one in Dubrovnik (snapped here at the Dominican Monastry), after a speedy change at the Air BnB before heading out to explore the city. It was so lovely to be able to wear something this summery in October- a luxury which I certainly didn't have when I got home! Another new addition to my holiday wardrobe was this Whistles cross-body bag, which was absolutely perfect, both for the flight and for the whole trip, and which has now become an everyday essential for me.

Which holiday essentials do you always make a point of packing?
