17.01.2020- On the Menu: Dalloway Terrace

Back in December (last year!), Hannah, Elodie and I went along to Dalloway Terrace in Bloomsbury for a belated birthday/pre-Christmas catch up. Just a short walk from Tottenham Court Road, it’s a destination which I’d been meaning to try out since it opened, so I was really excited to finally be able to make it along. Sitting alongside The Bloomsbury Hotel, Dalloway Terrace has also become something of an Instagrammable destination of choice, thanks predominately to their range of rotating seasonal installations. For winter, the dining area has been transformed into an alpine escape, which was perfect for a cosy catch up on a chilly December Saturday:

Whilst the brunch menu looks promising at the outset, I have to confess that I was a little bit disappointed about how small the portions were, particularly given the price points which the dishes are pitched at. The brunch options are nice but I’m honestly not sure whether I’d pay the same amount for the same food elsewhere- you definitely feel like you’re paying in part for the surroundings as much as you are for the food. What couldn’t be faulted, however, was the service, which was great, and the company, which was wonderful- it’s always so lovely to be able to see Elodie when she’s over and there’s always a huge amount to catch up on. Here’s to the next!

Have you visited any new foodie destinations recently?
