21.02.2020- London Loves: A Guide to Seven Dials

Working in Covent Garden for the last six years or so, I’ve become very familiar with the area, and have definitely established a favourite selection of haunts, lunchtime walks and dining destinations. Seven Dials is one of my favourite spots in the area, and over the last year or so has seen some absolutely lovely new shops pop up, which I’m finding myself visit on an almost weekly basis! So, if you’re a first-time visitor to the area, or a local looking for some fresh finds, here’s a little run down of a handful of my top spots in Seven Dials:

Emin and Paul
I discovered Emin and Paul towards the end of last year on a lunchtime walk with Michelle, and since then I think it’s fair to say that I’ve been make more times than is strictly necessary! Home to a beautiful range of simple designs, the shop is full of unique pieces, including some seriously sought-after dresses (one of which I treated myself to for my birthday!), and a selection of signature hairbands which are my new obsession. Definitely one to head to if you’re in the market for some new season staples to see you through spring and beyond.

One of the newest additions to the neighbourhood, this branch of Aesop is just as beautifully designed as their other stores, this Monmouth Street branch retains some of the beautiful original architecture of the building, and has a secret garden too. The knowledgeable team is always so helpful, and on hand to offer recommendations and advice when you pop in.

Caudalie in Seven Dials is a little spot of sanctuary which is the ideal bolthole if you’re in need of some new skincare or some fresh beauty inspiration. This store is also home to their treatment rooms which offer facials and massages- ideal for a post-work wind-down, and very highly recommended by me!

Another recent discovery of mine, the recently rebranded Shiro. Elegantly designed, with shelves full of sleek makeup and perfume, this is another wonderfully calm spot just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden. If you’re in the market for a new scent, I’d really recommend heading here.

Laura Lee Jewellery
Finally, Laura Lee Jewellery, which has been resident in the area for as long as I can remember. Offering handmade gems and bespoke creations, pieces can be monogrammed and customised too, making them the perfect options if you’re looking for gifts too. Even if you’re not looking to purchase something, it’s a beautiful destination for window shopping too- perfect for some lunchtime inspiration!
