01.06.2020- Lockdown Life: A Jewellery Update

Monday, 1 June 2020

And, just like that, we arrive in June! I don't know whether any of us could have predicted just how much life would have changed so completely in the last three months at the start of the year, and it's safe to say that we've all had to slightly recalibrate our plans and ambitions for the year ahead. My '30 things at 30' bucket list is definitely going to carry over into next year (which is totally fine by me), and as I type this things are still changing by the hour. With the ability to forward plan completely gone at the moment, I've been trying to find happiness in the slower pace and reduction of routine, as well as taking the time to appreciate the small things which are making me happy, including some recent additions to my jewellery collection:

Decadorn Tiny Tumbled Gemstone Necklace in Amazonite / Decadorn Sea Pearl and Coin Necklace / Mishky Heartsy Row Bracelet.

This little trio are new additions which I've made over the last month or so, and each piece is really helping to put a smile on my face. First up, this gemstone necklace from Decadorn in Amazonite, not only because I love the colour but also because there's something about the promise of confidence which the stone signifies which really appeals to me- especially at the moment. Next up, this sea pearl and coin necklace (again from Decadorn), which I love because it really reminds me of the coast- and hopefully it won't be too long before we can see the sea again for real. Finally, this Mishky bracelet which I ordered from one of my favourite local boutiques, Quattro Rish, because it perfectly captures the spirit of the times we're living through just at the moment.

Have you treated yourself to anything during lockdown?
