08.07.2020- What I Wore Today #421

Another week down, another post of me more or less waffling on about the same thing I was back in March! I don't think looking back at the selection of outfit snaps which I've got banked will get any easier to be honest, and it does really feel like I'm looking back on someone else's life. It's such a strange time to be existing through, and the unpredictability of it all is something which I think is so counter to the way that we as humans are used to living- with everything planned out weeks, months, and sometimes years in advance. Adjusting to the change in routine has definitely been tough for me, but things now definitely feel much easier than they did back in March and April- and I'm finding myself having a few more occasions to get dressed up:

Dress- Marks and Spencer
Shoes- Carvela

I bought this dress from Marks and Spencer at the start of the year as it seemed like the perfect piece for the office- which it was for a few weeks! The slightly unusual pattern really caught my eye, and I've always been an advocate of a flowy skirt- especially if it meant saving time first thing in the morning as this did. Looking back, I remember having to wear these shoes because of some seriously badly bruised toenails which I got after walking Box Hill and Leith Hill- strangely I now find myself very wistfully longing for those days!

Did you pick up any new pieces pre-lockdown?
