01.04.2012- Sunday Style Spotlight #16: Sunday Girl

The subject of this edition of Sunday Style Spotlight seems like the dream match for this feature, given that she shares her name with the day of the week which the post falls on! Over the last year or so, I've been admiring Sunday Girl's style from a distance, and this seems like the perfect opportunity to get a bit more familiar with her kooky yet quintessentially English take on fashion. Real name Jade Williams, Sunday girl is a singer, model and musician who is a regular fixture in many a London Fashion Week front row. The way in which she effortlessly fuses high street staples with high end designer pieces has made her the subject of countless street style snaps, and served to confirm her status as an up-and-coming style icon...

This look is all about capturing Sunday Girl's effortless bohemian approach, and I think it's a perfect outfit for spring. I adore the printed dress from Zara, and paired with the vintage belt from Rokit it's the perfect basis for channelling a relaxed, festival feel. The structured bag from Warehouse is something which I've been keeping an eye out for ages and I couldn't resist including it here as it's an ideal (and slightly more affordable!) alternative to Mulberry. These gorgeous moccasins from Topshop keep things co-ordinated, and I think they add a real retro feel to the outfit, as do the oversized sunglasses and simple vintage ring. This is a look I'll definitely be recreating as the warmer weather approaches!

Are you a fan of Sunday Girl's style? And what do you think of the look which I've put together?
