23.03.2015- Beauty Buys: Essie Bridal Collection

With spring creeping over the horizon, I'm happy to report that  yesterday I spent some quality time packing away my knits for another few months, and digging out some old fair weather faithfuls. With the clocks going forward at the end of the week, we've only a little while longer to wait until those much anticipated lighter evenings arrive, and, in true spring spirit, I've been seeking out some new season shades. I've got my eye on a few bits and pieces for my wardrobe, but in the beauty department it will probably come as no surprise to learn that I've been getting some inspiration from Essie's latest collection:

Essie Bridal Collection SS15: Brides No Grooms, Vanity Fair and Hubby For Dessert

Although these hues come from the Bridal Collection, they're absolutely perfect for spring, whether you're in the midst of marriage preparation or not (needless to say, I fall very firmly onto the 'not' side of that particular fence!) As with all Essie shades, the glide on formulation is perfect and comparatively hardwearing, and these smaller bottles are ideal for introducing some new hues into your nail polish collection without committing to full sized purchase. Brides No Grooms is a bold fuchsia tone,  but slightly paler than Essie favourites such as Style Hunter and Watermelon. Vanity Fair is a pretty, pearlescent pink with subtle hints of shimmer running though it- the dream polish if you're looking for a more natural, understated finish for spring. Finally, Hubby For Dessert is perhaps best described as a close cousin of Lilacism- but with a slightly lighter, blue infused finish. All in all, each of these pretty polishes are perfect for the change in season, and well worth a look if you fancy pepping up your existing stash of supplies.

Have you picked up any new beauty buys for spring?
