23.11.2018- Christmas Gifting: Beauty Boons

With Christmas Day a little over a month away, I’m using this coming weekend very much as a ‘get my shopping all wrapped up’ one. With lots of Black Friday discounts on the go, it pays to be prepared, and I’ve lot a selection of prospective purchases all bookmarked and ready to buy. If you’re keen to get similarly organised- and especially if you’re shopping around for beauty bits- keep scrolling for a peek at my pick the goodies in the shops now:

This Works Sleep Tight Kit, £13, Space NK/ Bobbi Brown Crystal Starlight Eyeshadow Palette, £35, Liberty/Skin Laundry Rejuvenation Essentials Kit, £110, Liberty/Diptyque Fragrance Surprise Pocket, £38, Liberty/Space NK Travel Bag in Champagne, £24, Space NK/Stila Liquid Glow Eyeshadow Set, £49, Space NK/Liberty London Beauty Cracker, £18, Liberty/Laura Mercier Magic Hour Face Illuminator Palette, £45, Space NK/Stars in Your Eyes Palette, £60, Charlotte Tilbury/Royal Lipstick Trio, £60, Charlotte Tilbury/Generation G Lipstick, £14, Glossier/Oi Space Gift Box, £47, Liberty/Mini Body Mist Kit, £12, & Other Stories/Percy & Reed Wonderlust Kit, £24, Marks and Spencer/Aesop Jet Set Travel Collection, £27, Liberty

Regular readers will know that I’m a big fan of This Works, and specially their Deep Sleep combinations. This Sleep Tight Kit is a lovely gifting option, and ideal for someone who is planning on using the festive break to catch up on some serious rest and relaxation. Next up, another failsafe in the shape of Bobbi Brown’s Crystal Starlight Eyeshadow Palette, which offers the perfect combination of everyday shades as well as instantly seasonal eye options. A real luxury treat- but one which would be worth every penny- this Skin Laundry Essentials kit from Liberty, which packs all the punch of a professional facial but comes with the added bonus of not having to leave the house!

If you’re shopping around for seasonal fragrances, then this Diptyque trio is a brilliant option, and a beautifully presented one too. A perfect practical present comes in the shape of Space NK’s Travel Bag- ideal if you’re shopping for someone with lots of journeying on the cards for the year ahead. More festive sparkle comes in the shape of Stila’s Liquid Glow Eyeshadow Set and Laura Mercier’s Magic Hour Illuminator- great gifting options for the party season and beyond. If you’re looking for a slightly more novel present, then Liberty’s beauty cracker is ideal, and there are plenty of different options to choose from too.

Another Christmas-ready present in waiting is this Stars in Your Eyes Palette from Charlotte Tilbury. I picked up a similar version last Christmas and it’s still going strong, so definitely something worth investing in or treating someone else to- I particularly love the pale pinks included in this version. Another Charlotte Tilbury gift option is this lovely little trio of lipsticks- each shade is really wearable and long lasting, so again, a definite investment buy for the year ahead.

Glossier’s revamped Generation G Lipstick is a brilliant go-to stocking filler- and there are a whole host of colour options available. This slightly more robust packaging also means that the product is slightly more durable- double winner! If winter haircare options are your go-to, then this Oi gift box from Davines is a brilliant shout, and beautifully presented too. With secret Santa in mind, & Other Stories have plenty of affordable options including this mini body mist kit. Similarly, this Percy & Reed Wonderlust set is a really brilliant value for money shout- as is this Aesop travel selection from Liberty, offering the perfect, miniature introduction to a handful of hero products which are perfect for pampering as the year bows out.

What Christmas beauty buys are you looking for this year?
