17.05.2019- What I Wore Today #371

It feels like years ago that I was away in Copenhagen, but it was only a fortnight ago! It’s amazing how quickly that post-holiday feeling can dissipate no matter how hard you try and cling onto it, but I’ve still got a handful of blog posts in the bank about my trip to share, so that will be a lovely way to revisit some Nordic niceties over the next few weeks. Although it was pretty chilly when I was there, it was still lovely to get out and about in the fresh air, and give some new season style staples an airing:

Coat- Marks and Spencer
 Jumper- Whistles
Skirt- Free People
Bag- John Lewis
Sunglasses- Ray-Ban (c/o John Lewis)
Shoes- New Balance

I’ve had this coat from Marks and Spencer for a fair few years now, and it’s one of those great pieces which works really well for inbetweeny weather, as well as being really versatile. It’s a perennial favourite which was perfect for my trip to Denmark, and here I teamed it with some fresher favourites in the shape of this lemon knit from Whistles and skirt from Free People. This combination is one which I’ve been more or less living in since I picked them up at the start of the spring, and they are pieces which I’m really pleased with especially as they work wonderfully with lots of other pieces in my wardrobe.

Which staple pieces have you been reaching for recently?
