06.11.2019- What I Wore Today #390

Although summer seems like a distant memory at the moment, I’m really pleased that some of the investment buys which I made back when the weather was better are holding up well for autumn too. This year I’ve been more conscious about investing my pennies wisely on pieces which are better made and higher quality than a lot of the faster fashion options which I might have plumped for in the past. One such investment is from a brand which I discovered in Denmark earlier this year, and which I’m well and truly converted to:

Shirt- Arket
Trousers- Baum und Pferdgarten
Sunglasses- Warehouse
Bag- Fjallraven
 Shoes- Flossy

I fell in love with Baum and Pferdgarten when I was in Copenhagen back in the spring, and since then have been eagerly shopping around for some perfect investment pieces from their range of well designed everyday basics. These trousers were a sale purchase which I made back in the summer, and have really proven to be a fantastic investment, especially as they fit fantastically and are versatile enough to style in a whole host of different iterations. Here I teamed them with another staple from Arket- this denim shirt is another great buy and once which I’m really pleased with, especially as I’m sure I’ll get plenty of wear out of it layering under knits as the temperatures continue to drop.

Have you been styling any staple pieces differently recently?
