27.12.2019- What I Wore Today #396

Happy Chrimbo Limbo! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas Day, and now once again we find ourselves in that strange limbo betwixt now and new year- and more specifically, the most important of seasonal events- aka The Sound of Music being on telly on New Year's Day! Whether you're using the next few days to catch up with friends and family, putting your feet up and relaxing or getting round to that mountain of life admin which you've been putting off for a while, here's hoping it's as lovely as possible. I'll be heading into the office for today and the start of next week, but I'm actually really looking forward to it- and have got the perfect pieces lined up to cling on to a pinch of festive feeling for as long as possible:

Dress- Monki
Trainers- New Balance

I picked up this dress from Monki at the start of the autumn, and it's become a real firm fixture in my wardrobe since the day it arrived. It's the perfect easy-to-wear addition, and a great staple to throw on first thing in the morning without having to give it too much thought. I love the print, and the loose, relaxed fit is absolutely perfect too, making it ideal for layering under knits too. As well as working really well for the daytime, it's also one of those pieces which works just as well for something more formal in the evening too- making it a real winner in the cost-per-wear category.

Which pieces have you been living in lately?
