27.01.2020- What I Wore Today #400

As I mentioned in my last post, the lovely thing about heading to Dubrovnik in October was the sheer simplicity of being able to be warm at a time of the year when I’m usually bundled up in knitwear! It’s been a little while since I’ve been able to stash shorts and swimwear in my suitcase, so I packed them with relish, hoping that we’d be able to make it to the beach for a few hours during our stay. Luckily, we did, and I felt so thrilled at being able to swim in the sea in the autumn too- it really was the most magical trip:
Top- Urban Outfitters
Shorts- Zara
Sunglasses- & Other Stories
Bag- Whistles
Tote Bag- Curated Woman

I’ve had these pieces stashed in a drawer full of my summer holiday staples from my last beach trip for years, and it was lovely to be able to dig them out again! To be honest, I’m surprised that they still fitted, but I was very grateful to past me for being sensible and not throwing them away back in 2012! This Urban Outfitters top is absolutely ideal for holiday wear, especially as it’s 100% cotton. These shorts are an absolute dream too- and the proved to be the perfect holiday staple.

Have you got a stash of holiday heroes which you always reach for when you’re going away?
