12.02.2020- What I Wore Today #402

The final of my style posts from Dubrovnik! Whilst the days were lovely and sunny and afforded me the opportunity to make the most of airing some rarely seen summer favourites, it did turn chillier (and often quite windy!) in the evenings, which necessitated wrapping up a little bit. However, October in Croatia is much warmer than October in London, so instead of bundling up in a coat, I reached for a staple piece which has become a firm favourite in my suitcase over recent holidays:

Cardigan- John Lewis
Shirt- Zara
Trousers- lululemon
Shoes- ASOS

This John Lewis cardigan is one of the best cost-per-wear buys which I made last year, and I’m so pleased that it’s proven to be such a savvy spend. I snapped it up at the start of last summer to take on my trip to Scotland, and it was perfect for throwing in my case to bring to Dubrovnik too- ideal for warding off the chilly evening breeze! Here I layered it over another basic favourite, this collar detail shirt from Zara which I love predominantly because of the slightly EXTRA collar detail (living my best period drama life since 1989!) And, once again, another shoutout to lululemon’s On the Fly trousers- the perfect travel purchase I’ve made!

Which pieces are your travel treasures?
