04.05.2020- What I Wore Today #413

Another week into lockdown life and I'm still working my way through my back catalogue of archive outfit snaps! Usually I'm so behind with these that by the time I share them the pieces aren't all that seasonally appropriate, but time seems to be meaning so many different things just at the moment that I'm not sure it matters at all anymore. This outfit was one which I snapped just after Christmas last year- I distinctly remember throwing on a nice dress and cardigan to make the prospect of heading into the office less gloomy:

Cardigan- Warehouse
Dress- Baum und Pferdgarten (via My Theresa)
Shoes- Adidas

I'd had my eye on this Baum und Pferdgarten dress since the end of the summer last year, and when it made it into the end of season sale on My Theresa I snapped it up. It's definitely an investment piece and I've got my eye on it to wear to a wedding later in the year too- which I'm keeping everything crossed will still be happening. It goes without saying that I love the floral design and the shape is perfect too, making it really versatile and the kind of piece which does actually endure from season to season. Here I co-ordinated it with a much-loved cardigan from Warehouse, which is proving to be one of the pieces which I'm reaching for most at the moment as it's so cosy and perfect for throwing on when the weather takes a chilly turn. Here's hoping it won't be too long before I can take this combination back out into the wild!

Which pieces are you living in at the moment?
